Being a Guru

All my life I have been a seeker. Looking into as many variations of spirituality as I could find. I studied under many 'gurus' teacher each with their own versions of reality. It is often said that which you focus on is that which you become. So, being that I focused on gurus I innevitably became one at first to my liking then to my dismay and back and forth as the pendulum swings. I liked being the teacher because I could open people up to new ideas and receive their adoration. I disliked it because of the responsibility that it involved. So I found myself not giving as much as I could. Also there is a veign in mysticism that strives to keep things secret.
Now the evolution of the teacher is becoming apparrent. It is obvious that the student progresses. But this should be true for the teacher as well. I found that I would withold information if I wasn't absolutely sure of its validity. Something I knew might be good but not perfect. Well we are all always on the path. A good teacher is always a student as well. So I embrace my evolution and I share it with others. I share My mistakes as well as my triumphs.
